Not only will you be providing effective support for the development of others and improve their performance, you will be properly equipped with the skills, knowledge and ethical understanding of coaching and mentoring to aid your development, communication and interpersonal skills, to take your career to the next level.

All Coaching and Mentoring qualifications include a student membership to the Institute of Leadership and Management, you will be able to access a range of resources and information to guide you through your journey.

Coaching and Mentoring Certificate – Level 5

To achieve this certificate employeeswill be required to achieve 13 credits, the structure will include an induction, tutorial support & the teaching of three mandatory units including keeping a record of a coaching diary..

Coaching and Mentoring qualifications are powerful tools for developing your leadership capabilities, they will open up may opportunities for anemployees development.

This interactive course will equip employees with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as workplace coaches or mentors.

As a result of this training we would expect employees to be motivating, inspiring, challenging, stimulating and guiding others within the organisation. These are practical and “hands on” programmes, designed for key people in organisations wishing to improve their Coaching and Mentoring skills.

Employees will gain a critical understanding of the role and responsibilities of the workplace coach and mentor and deepen their understanding of how coaching and mentoring can impact an organisation. Alongside this employees will assess your their own skills, behaviours and knowledge as a coach and mentor and provide evidence of their own development through the qualification.

The table to the right showcases assignments that must be completed to achieve the certificate.

Award in Mentoring – Level 3

To achieve this award, employees will be required to achieve 10 credits to which will be achieved by completing the three mandatory units stated.

It is important to know and understand the differences between coaching and mentoring, and how to utilise the mentoring award correctly and efficiently within the workplace, the structure will include an induction, tutorial support.

This course will be reflective on your employees growth and knowledge of a mentor and will get them thinking of how they can dvelop others using these new skills and way of leadership to other individuals.

When completing the units employees will be required to show their competency ad understanding of Workplace Mentoring to display that they have understood the theory behind Workplace Mentoring.

This qualification is available as an Award and as a Certificate.

Award in Coaching – Level 3

To achieve this award, employees will be required to achieve 13 credits, these credits will be achieved by completing the three mandatory units stated.

The structure will include an induction, tutorial support & the teaching of three mandatory units to guide and equip employees with all the knowledge they will require to complete the assignments and show that they have gained knowledge and competency to effectively coach individuals.
